MFA

This selection of artworks I created during my first 2 years of my MFA at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. I had a realization (with the aid of my peers and advisors) near the end of my second year that I was reliant upon the potters wheel as a formation technique and my work wasn't at the level I knew it could be... For thesis year I refused to use the pottery wheel I had been so accustomed to and solely handbuilt my artworks. It was a great opportunity for artistic growth.
